I was born and raised in the rainy emerald city of Seattle, with the lush primal rainforests of the Olympic National Park close at hand. It was within these trees that my younger self dreamt of Jurassic monsters stalking through the ancient ferns. Teeth and claws, stretched skin and lashing tails – imagery like this gave me an unbridled sense of wonder and inspiration for a natural power greater than the human world. It wasn’t until later in my life, after leaving an interesting career in lab science, that I turned my passion towards visual art. I needed to share and express my deep admiration for all things Rawr! I recently moved to LA and have been enjoying the sun and the creative friends here.
